Below is a list of speakers currently committed for the 2017 Indy Golf Expo. Check back frequently for an updated list of speakers and a detailed daily schedule on the stage!

David Brinker

David is the President of Mid America Golfing Events, a three-time RE/MAX World Long Drive Champion and an 11-time RE/MAX World Long Drive Finalist. His long drive journey began in 2004 at the Long Drivers of America tour Qualifying School in Dallas, Tex. He captured the interest of seasoned long drivers by earning his LDA tour card on his first attempt. David has a flair for bringing excitement and entertainment to both corporate and charitable events. Through his efforts, he has helped raise in excess of $1,500,000 for charitable events in the last eight years.

Roger Lundy

Roger Lundy is the Director of Junior Golf Development for the Indiana Golf Foundation. A 31-year PGA professional, Lundy has coached many of the state’s top young golfers at both the junior and collegiate levels. Roger has been Indiana Golf’s Academy Director for the last 13 years and spent three years as program director of The First Tee of Indiana, teaching young golfers about both the fundamentals of the game, and its application to life skills. A 20-year collegiate head coach at both Manchester College and Franklin College, Lundy has been named Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Coach of the Year five times, and has been ranked among the top-15 instructors in the state by Golf Digest since 2008. Lundy is also a three-time US Kids Top-50 honoree, and was a US Kids Master Kids Teacher in 2008. He is the past president of the Indiana Section of the PGA, and was a two-time participant in the National PGA Club Professional Championships.

Heather Williams

Dr. Williams received her Master’s in biology from Purdue University in Indianapolis in 1995. She then attended Indiana University in Indianapolis and received her master’s in physiology and biophysics in 1996. In 2000, she received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Williams completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. in 2005 and an orthopedic hand fellowship at University of Miami in Miami, Fla., in 2006. Prior to joining OrthoIndy, Dr. Williams practiced as an orthopedic hand surgeon at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla., The Ouellette Group Physicians for the Hand in Coral Gables, Fla., and held an independent practice in Miami, Fla. Currently, she treats traumatic and arthritic conditions of the hand and wrist for both adults and children at OrthoIndy, with a specific interest in sports injuries about the hand and wrist.

Mike Zedrick

Mike has an extensive background in teaching, working for several of the best instructors in the Midwest and the country. He began his career as an assistant in Danville, Ill., where he learned under the former coach at Methodist University, who won seven women’s Division III national titles. Following his time in Danville, Mike worked under Jan Tellstrom for a year at Smock and was part of the award-winning junior golf program. After becoming a member of the PGA of America, Mike spent two years as an assistant at the TPC Scottsdale and was hired to work with the ESPN Golf Schools under the leadership of Hank Haney. Mike spent the next four years as Head Golf Professional at Kanakaee Elks CC and Stonhenge G&CC, before returning to the Indianapolis area. Michael has been certified as a Titleist Performance Institute instructor and is also certified through US Kids Golf. Mike now runs all of the Junior Camps at Gray Eagle Golf Club, in Fishers, where is responsible for private and group instruction, as well as junior golf camps and clinics.

Colby Huffman

Colby Huffman is designated as a Certified Consultant by the Applied Association of Sport Psychology (CC-AASP) making him the only PGA Teacher of the Year (Indiana, 2012) in the nation to have earned CC-AASP credentials. Also serving as associate head coach of IUPUI’s golf program, Huffman has been recognized by Golf Digest in their selection of “Best Teachers State by State” in every year since 2012, and is the only NCAA coach in Indiana to make the list. Further, he is a sport psychology and golf best-selling author per Amazon.com. Of his two books, one (“Train for Golf Like an Olympian”) reached No. 1 on Amazon’s Best Sellers in Golf e-Book List. Huffman has also written articles for numerous publications, including “Teaching Teachers,” featured in PGA Magazine. Additionally, as the U.S. Patent holder for a golf training aid that he invented, he was able to co-produce an instructional DVD with Hank Haney that sold worldwide (’09-’12). Huffman served as a lead instructor for the Hank Haney IJGA from 2007-09 while Hank was teaching Tiger Woods. Prior to that, he worked with Gary Gilchrist (as Director of Training) as well as at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Huffman has developed eight Junior All-Americans, who were his full-time academy boarding students, while helping to cultivate dozens of college scholarship athletes, as well. Huffman is a PGA Class-A member, a certified golf fitness instructor, and a certified club-fitter. A four-time Academic All-Big Ten student-athlete at Purdue University, Huffman received the USAA All-American Collegiate Scholar Award in 1999. Following his time in college, Huffman spent time playing professionally on the PGA Tour de Las Americas (now PGA Tour Latinoamerica), Golden Bear Tour, Hurricane Tour and the Maverick Tour, where he competed against many of today’s PGA Tour members.

Ali Beam

Ali Beam has worked for the The First Tee of Indiana for the last four years, leading First Tee’s junior golf development efforts throughout the state. She is a recognized First Tee coach and has been a PGA professional since 2008. In addition to her work with The First Tee of Indiana, Ali is a teaching professional at Riverside Golf Academy and the head girls golf coach at Bishop Chatard High School. Ali played collegiately for Northern Illinois, where she was named Female Athlete of the Year in 2003. In 2016, Ali was recognized with the Player Development Award for the State of Indiana.
